Bothy Tales – A life in the mountains: a theatre performance by John D. Burns

Directed by Gerry Flanagan Shifting Sands Theatre company.

John’s one man show, Bothy Tales, is an entertaining romp through his years on the hills. There are stories about bothy monsters, a near death experience in an avalanche, a meeting with a lion, and much much more.

John says, “I’m really excited to be working with Gerry Flanagan, his expertise is bringing a whole new dimension to the show taking the performance on to the next level.”

Entertaining, inspiring, hilarious. John has performed at literary and mountain festivals across the country and is available for after dinner speaking, house parties and bespoke events.

John provides entertaining events, talking about subjects such as Scotland’s mountains, strange goings on in remote bothies, Aleister Crowley and numerous tall tales. Performances can be tailor made for your event. Same day bookings are sometimes possible as we understand visitors to the Highlands my not know their itinerary in advance.
