Here’s my latest podcast about my new novel Sky Dance. In this podcast I talk about why I felt I had to write this book. I talk about the destruction of our mountain environment by rich land owners who keep deer numbers artificially high so their clients can shoot stags and how this overgrazing prevents the re-growth of forests. This prevents us re-introducing many wild animals such as beaver, lynx and the wolf. I also talk about the practice of driven grouse shooting which is responsible for the deaths of many of our magnificent birds of prey such as eagles and hen harriers. I’ll also read short excerpt from the novel.
